In 2019 YFC Canada released a foundational document of strategic statements. Southwestern Ontario Youth for Christ adopted these strategic statements in defining who they are and what they do. The work that went into crafting these strategic statements reflect a motto of YFC reaching back to the 40's: "Geared to the times, anchored to the Rock". The mission of YFC is the same as it always has been, described with new wording that translates well in Canadian context. The newly worded mission statement is: Every young person living fully in Christ. This is Youth for Christ. The same as always - still anchored to the Rock and geared to the times.
