This two day event will be held at 205 S. Oak in Pearsall. The event includes a motorcycle show. Bike registration begins at 2:00 pm on Saturday and judging begins at 4:00 pm. The fee to enter your motorcycle is $20.00 per bike. Bike show categories will be custom, cruiser and metric. The top three bikes in each category will receive Trophies. The event also includes a biker party, tattoo contest, barbeque cook-off, street dance, live music and vendors. Vendor booths are $25.00 for a 10x10 spot and covers both Friday & Saturday. Ride for Relief
Sponsored by Freedom Powersports, Big Slick's Bar and Grill, Victory Marketing, Crossroads Cycle, Kevin Davis State Farm, AMR Ambulance Service, and Signature Towing
The ride starts at the Freedom Powersports, 2110 North Central Expressway in McKinney and ending in Westminster. Registration is at 8:30 am and the motorcycles go out at 10:00 am. The ride will be about 50 miles and will not have any stops. The ride fee is $20.00 per bike, which includes a hamburger, chips, and a soft drink. The first 150 people that pre-register before April 6th will receive a free ride shirt. There will be additional pins, patches, and shirts available for $5.00 each while supplies last. This ride is benefitting Strengthening Families of North Texas, which is a non-profit child abuse prevention program. The event will be held at Riverbend Park, 107 Hwy 71 W in Smithville. Gates open at 12:00 pm on Friday. The event will include a downtown motorcycle parade, a fun run, a motorcycle show, bike games, live music, Miss Thunder contest, vendors, and more.  The downtown parade will include views of the historic buildings and a piece of small town living as crowds gather to watch the bikers ride through Main Street Smithville and head up the Loop, back to Hwy 71 and Riverbend Park. The fee for the fun run is $10.00 per person. At registration, riders will be given a map with 7 stops. Riders can take off on the route of their choice as well as choose the stops.  Awards will be given for the best and worst hand. Bike show categories are sport bike, cruiser, custom, touring, trike, and antique. the entry fee is $5.00 per bike. Trophies, t-shirts, pins and more will be awarded to winners. to enter the bike games, there is a fee of $5.00 per game or $20.00 for all five games. The number of people who can enter will be limited. Games include slow race; bite the weenie; haystack; and honey, I'm Home. There will be food, soda, and water provided at the end of the ride. This event is to commemorate the ending of the Vietnam War and all proceeds will benefit disabled veterans. The first 100 to register will get a gas card. The event includes a opening ceremony followed by the 90 mile ride through country roads in Hunt, and Fannin Counties. The ride will be benefiting the Wolfe City Volunteer Fire Department. The ride ends with a motorcycle show. Trophies will be given out in several categories.
