Devil's Bowl Speedway Flat Track Nationals - Rally & Race

The rally and race will be held at Devil's Bowl Speedway, 1711 Lawson Rd. in Mesquite. The gates open at 9:00 am on Friday. Motorcycle activities include a half-mile dirt track with vintage and amateur classes, 100 ft dirt drags, field games, biker rodeo, bike show with awards, and more. See some of the fastest flat track racers from across the country battle it out at the historical half-mile. There will also be concerts, burn-out pits, and vendors. Camping is available. The benefit ride starts at Fort Hood Harley-Davidson, 875 W. Central Texas Expressway in Harker Heights. Registration is from 8:30 am to 10:00 am and the motorcycles roll out at 10:30 am. The fee is $15.00 for the rider or $20.00 with a passenger. The first 100 riders receive a commemorative patch. This is an organized motorcycle ride benefiting the ACS Food Bank/Pantry on Fort Hood supporting active duty soldiers, retires, and their families. The rally is headquartered at 18th and Strand in Galveston but events take place at various locations throughout the city. The rally begins at 10:00 am on Thursday. There is no fee for the rally. The event includes a poker run, a bike show, music, food and more. You can start the poker run/scavenger hunt at any time. It must be completed by 6:00 pm on Saturday. There is no fee but donations to Rolling Thunder Inc. are accepted. The bike show will include various categories. There is a small entry fee and prizes will be given to winners.
