16th Annual Outer Banks Bike Show

The bike show will be held at 169 Walnut Island Boulevard in Grandy beginning at 10:00 am. The event includes a $1,000 poker run, and bike show, bike games, vendors, live music and more. The poker run will be held on Saturday. The ride in motorcycle show will have 10 classes with awards given to winners. Bike games will take place on September 2nd, 3rd and 4th. Bull City Rumble 12 -Vintage Motorcycle Show

The vintage motorcycle show will take place at the Brightleaf District, 1007 West Main Street in Durham beginning at 12:00 pm. There is no admission fee for the public. The fee to enter a motorcycle is $7.00 and can be paid at the show. All bikes entered must run. Bike show categories will include vintage British, vintage European, vintage Japanese, vintage American, post vintage, retro modern, competition, and vintage scooter or moped. Judges will be looking for well ridden bikes with personality and craftsmanship. Awards will be given to winners. The event is being held at the New Mountain, 38 North French Broad Avenue in Asheville starting at 12:00 pm. Admission is $20.00 per person. There will be a bike show for motorcycles made before 1973 that is judged. The fee is $20.00 per bike. There will be goodie bags for the first 100 bikes registered, entertainment, raffles, 50/50, auction, vendors, food, contests, and music. Vendor spaces are available. It is $60.00 for a 10'x10' space, $120 for a 10'x20' space, $180 for a 10'x30' space. The proceeds from the bike show will benefit Heels for Combat Boots while the proceeds from the auction will benefit the Diabetes Research Institute Foundation.
