Home of the Brave Motorcycle Rally
The event takes place at American Legion Post 639, 2660 S Scenic Avenue in Springfield. Gates open at 7:30 pm on Friday. The event includes a poker run, Motorcycle games, music and more. Poker run registration begins at 10:00 am on Saturday and the first bike goes out at 2:30 pm. A prize will be awarded to the winner. Various games will be played. Awards will be given to winners. The fee is $20.00 per bike and an extra $5.00 for additional cards on the day of the ride or $15.00 per bike with early registration. There will be prizes for first, second, and third places. The ride will start at Missouri Veterans Home, 1600 S. Hickory Street in Mt. Vernon.  Registration begins at 9:00 am and the last motorcycle goes out by 10:30 am. The ride fee is $25.00 if pre-registered or $30.00 on the day of the ride. Pre-registered riders get a T-shirt. The ride fee includes a meal. The poker run is open to all motorcycle riders 18 years and older and will go 108 miles through the Ozarks. Awards will be given for the top two hands and the low hand. The bike show will be held at Bubba John's, 103 Pin Oak Drive in Aurora. Registration for the show begins at 10:00 am and the judging begins at 1:00 pm. The fee to enter a motorcycle is $10.00. All bikes will be judged in one category and special designed dog tags will be awarded for the top three bikes. A motorcycle ride will take place after the bike show. Motorcycles go out at approximately 2:00 pm. The ride ends with a band, food and more. Proceeds will benefit The Foundation for Exceptional Warriors to provide recreational and outdoor therapeutic activities for special forces operator veterans, veterans decorated for valor, and combat-wounded veterans.
