Riding For Rescue

The ride starts at Russell County Rescue Squad, 2782 S Highway 127 in Russell Springs. Registration begins at 9:00 am and the motorcycles go out at 12:00 pm. The ride fee is $10.00 and includes a meal. There will also be a motorcycle show with Trophies awarded. The fee to enter a motorcycle in the show is also $10.00 and includes a meal. Sturgis Kentucky Bike Rally
The event will take place at Union County Fairgrounds, 125 Pryor Boulevard in Sturgis beginning at 7:00 am. The event includes bike games, dirt drags, 2 poker runs, burnout contest, and bike show. The bike games and bike show will be held in an air-conditioned arena. Poker runs will be held Friday and Saturday mornings. The poker run starts at Open Hands Food Pantry, 1111 Industry Road in Lawrenceburg. Registration is at 11:00 am and the motorcycles go out at 12:30 pm. The fee is $15.00 per rider and $5.00 per passenger. Additional hands are $5.00 each. Plaques will be awarded for the best and the worst hands. The ride ends with a meal. Registration begins at 9:00 am and motorcycles go out at 10:30 am. The 2.5 hour ride will include two fuel and rest stops before ending in Lexington. A barbeque lunch will be provided at the end of the ride. There will also be prizes. Proceeds will be used to help fund scholarships at Somerset Community College and Eastern Kentucky University.
