2008 Honor and Remember Ride To Washington

Riders can begin from the
Super 8 Motel, 5 Cavalry Drive in Wenona at
7:00 am. Ride originally starts on June 14th in
St Paul, Minnesota. Riders will
be able to join in at cities where the ride stops for the night. The
night of June
15th the ride will stop in
Columbus, Ohio. June 16th through 19th riders
will be staying in
Falls Church, Virginia and will be riding from that
location to various sites in the Washington area. On June 20 the ride
will stop in
Roanoke, Virginia. June 21st stop will be in
Asheville,
North Carolina. Riders will stop on June 22nd and 23rd in
Pigeon Forge,
Tennessee. On June 24th the ride stops in
Clarksville, Tennessee. The
stop for the night of June 25th will be in
Alton, Illinois. Riders will
stop for the night in
Cedar Rapids, Iowa on June 26 and the ride ends in
St. Paul on the 27th. Riders may ride the entire trip or any part. For more information

The show will be held at Pells Park on Route 9 in Paxton beginning at
12:00 pm. Entry fee is $10.00. Bikes will be judged in 10 categories.
Trophies will be given for first, second and third. Proceeds will be
used to purchase toys for Christmas.

2nd Annual American Legion Riders Post 489 Poker Run
Poker run starts at American Legion Post 489, 9054 Veterans Parkway in Yorkville
rain or shine. All
bikes are welcome. Registration begins at 10:30 am. The first bike goes out at 11:30 am.
Ride fee is $15.00 for the rider and $10.00 for a passenger. The ride ends with
raffle prizes, door prizes, music and food. .Prizes will be awarded for the best
poker hand.
