Submitting News Items

News items must be factual. News items do not express the opinion of the writer nor do they ask the reader to respond or take action.

The author or the publisher must be known.  If you wish to submit an article that you have written yourself please indicate that you are the author.  If you submit an article from another publication please include the name of the publication as well as the date it was published.  It would be helpful if you could also provide information on how we can contact the publication.  We won't reprint an article without their permission.

Please include a way that we can contact you.  We may have a question or need more information.  It's very important that we publish informative and reliable information.  We also do not want to plagiarize  It's important that we give credit where it is due. Submitting Editorials

Editorials normally express opinions or call for the reader to take a particular action. (Call your congressman.. Etc...)  Editorials must relate to motorcycling or motorcycles.  When writing an editorial please explain your position and include your reasons for that opinion.  The better you explain yourself the more likely your editorial will be published.  You may respond to other editorials.  If you do, please indicate what information you are responding to.

The author or the publisher must be known.  Your name will accompany the editorial and be published with the editorial.  Your editorial will normally be published without editing, but should editing be required you will receive an edited copy for your approval before it is published.

Please include a way that we can contact you.  We may have a question or need more information.  It's very important that we publish editorials by the person who wrote them and that we are able to trace back to that person. Lets-ride may, at it's option, verify the author of an editorial in various ways. Any editorial that we attempt to verify but are unable to verify will not be published.
